I wrote this when I was going through some hard times a few years ago. For me, this poem was a God-inspired poem. The words I feel were straight from Him. They've been an encouragement to me, and I pray that you may find some comfort in them as well.

My Precious child

My child,

my precious child.

I love you so much.

My love for you is

stronger than anything

life will give you.

Nothing on this earth

can replace how much

I love you. My child,

I gave my Only Son for

your life.

I want your heart

to follow me. All you

have to do is trust.

For you that’s hard to

do, but don’t worry.

You are so precious,

greater than you know.

Your life is full of

love, joy, caring people

who love you. I gave

to you people who

want you to succeed.

People love you more

than you realize. I made

you who you are, and gave

these hard times to you

to encourage you.

Draw near to me

when times are rough.

I sacrificed my son

for you because I love you.

I know you’ll be OK

in time. Cling to those

who are helping you

through. It’s OK to

stumble and fall. I’m right

here to pick you up again.

You have the determination

and drive to do anything. Don’t

be afraid to set high

goals. I know you and love

you so much more BECAUSE

you’re you.

I’ve said, “Come to me all

who are weary and I will give

you rest.” My child, it

doesn’t matter if you’re happy,

sad, excited, or angry. I listen

no matter what.

It brings me so much joy

when you achieve you

goals and dreams. You are

my beautiful and special

child.

I feel your pain with

you. You are NEVER

alone. I know you feel like

it, but I’ve always been

there.

Take comfort in knowing

that I will never leave you

OR forsake you. No matter

what, always remember

what my Son endured

for you to be free. He know

the price he would pay for

the chosen to be spared.

My child, I love you, need you

to do my glory, and have always

stood by you. My hope is

strong that you will triumph

over every evil. It’s up to you

to stand strong when

it appears.

Do not lose heart, for the

glory of Heaven is yours,

for I am with you.

Dear God,

It's me again. I am

so thankful for all you've

done. You have given me

so much hope, love,

forgiveness, and courage;

strength for each new

day.

You hear my thoughts,

needs, cares, hopes, and

dreams. A day never goes

by when your love and

grace isn't shining in

all its brilliance.

I will forever never fully

understand the true impact

of Your son's death for

my life, but through faith

is made just a little

easier.

I've made so many mistakes,

gracious Father, that I

would think could never be

forgiven. Through each

mistake, you've forgiven me,

and have given me a second

chance.

Forgive me, holy God,

for doubting you when

I should be trusting you.

You walk beside me every

day. Sometimes, through

the simple everyday activities,

I forget that.

For each new day, you give

me hope for a brighter

tomorrow, and strength

for a brighter future.

Bless your children, dear

Lord, for it is only by

your grace we are

saved. Amen.
